Ketchup
A film byTristan Chytroschek
Hot loved and cold eaten
Glibberig, sticky, sweet – for gourmets, ketchup is an affront to good taste. Too obtrusive, too thick, too commercial – that’s where the tomato paste comes from. Nevertheless, no other seasoning sauce is as popular as ketchup. Americans alone spend half a billion dollars a year on the red blob on the edge of their plates.
